This was entertaining, but ultimately you misunderstood how PPE works. There are two types of PPE. Humans shape themselves using their permanent PPE. That's why it decreases with age. The Poltergeists consume temporary PPE points which is not used in that way, thus it can refill with a night's rest or sitting crosslegged and saying "ooommm" for an hour. It's an understandable confusion based upon bad terminology.
